Sometimes a group provides the right dynamic for therapy to progress, when aided by a skillful group leader and honest sharing by other group members. A variety of group therapy experiences may be available to Life Change Psychotherapy clients throughout the year. During an assessment appointment, our skillful therapists will talk with you to determine your needs and whether any of our group opportunities are right for you.
Healthy Connections Group
Do you feel like you engage in self-sabotaging behaviors when you are involved in a relationship? If so, then consider our Healthy Connections group, where we address such issues, as well as how to find and keep healthy relationships, reduce loneliness and learn ways to avoid self-fulfilling prophecies. Weekly ongoing meetings. Group Leader: Tricia McKenna, Ph.D.
Art Therapy Groups
Throughout the year, we offer art therapy groups of varying duration and focus. Past groups have helped clients explore issues and cultivate depth and meaning through a variety of media and projects, such as collage, personal map-making, altered books, box shrines and mobiles. Group Leader: Lenan Rust, LPCC, LPAT, ATR-BC.
