As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Rachel believes in the healing power of a safe, compassionate space in which to explore oneself and one’s relationships more deeply. Using a warm, grounded approach, she collaborates with each person-whether in individual or couples counseling-to access the heart, mind and body. As we journey through life, we encounter obstacles and adapt with the tools we have. Over time, we may experience “stuckness,” relational discord, feeling misunderstood or a lack of balance when old coping methods no longer serve us. Rachel believes internal discord is an invaluable signal from deep wisdom that lies within us, offering fertile ground for growth and integration to occur.
Her experiential methods foster healthy patterns of relating to oneself and others. In addition to talk therapy, Rachel offers sandtray therapy to help access one’s deeper aspects. She is also a Level 3 AEDP practitioner and a Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath Certified Practitioner.
